A Time to Honor What’s Ended

As the year comes to a close ~ it’s a beautiful time for reflection.

It’s time to honor what’s ended ~ and what is quietly waiting to be reborn.

Honoring what’s ended doesn’t mean clinging to it ~ it means acknowledging what it gave you and how it may have altered your life. It’s a way to close a chapter with respect rather than regret or resentment. Endings can also carry a quiet wisdom.  They show us what mattered most and how we may have changed…and what we’ve outgrown.

I like to call these endings “moments of quiet courage” ~ quiet, yes ~ but certainly not small.

What I mean by “quiet courage”~ is that you meet your fears with love and compassion, staying true to yourself, even through difficult times. Understand that this courage isn’t loud … it’s merely a choice to move quietly through whatever needs your attention in the present moment, putting these endings in their own sacred space. Again, it allows you to navigate what needs to be addressed on your own timeline. Nothing to force, nothing to rush. Just listening to your internal self, feeling, and trusting that what’s forming may not need your certainty yet, only your presence.

The act of waiting for what is to be reborn isn’t passive ~ it’s attentive, patient, gentle, and brave. It’s called “active presence.” It’s about having restraint, discernment, and trust. It’s choosing not to interfere with something still finding its shape.

So as you reflect on what’s ending, with quiet courage, trust what lies ahead ~ and what’s waiting to be reborn.

Wishing you all Sweet Blessings today ~ and every day ~

May you embrace your quiet courage with active presence ~
