Spring ~ A Time for Newness

Spring ~ what a lovely time of year. All of the trees and bushes that have lost their leaves, begin to bloom again. We are reminded of “newness.” Flowers start to blossom ~ again ~ we are reminded of “newness.” The weather starts to warm, and the snow melts. We see sprouts of grass that had laid dormant in the cold winter months. Again ~ we are reminded of “newness.”

When we feel the warmth of spring, and see all that is growing around us, we can become inspired to do the same in our personal life. Not that we were dormant during the winter months, but perhaps it’s time to refresh ~ and allow this freshness to bring about newness.

It can be as simple or complex as you wish. Perhaps it’s a new style bringing about a new look, or engaging in new activities. Maybe it’s moving things around in your home or engaging in spring cleaning. Whatever it is for you…. Do that!  This time of “newness” refreshes your soul and your spirit. Even the smallest changes in your life can inspire and promote growth.

It’s also the perfect time to let go of anything you may be holding onto, anything that may be festering within. Anything that doesn’t serve your well-being. Anything that may be holding you back from bringing love into your heart…for others as well as yourself.

Are you holding onto ~ or harvesting any of these emotions?

  • Guilt
  • Bitterness
  • Anger
  • Fear
  • Grudges
  • Shame
  • Desperation
  • Hopelessness
  • Hate

The list can go on and on; I am sure you may have some of your own emotions which are not listed.

So use this beautiful time of year “spring,” to reflect and decide how you might want to refresh your life. Decide how you may want to bring about “newness. ” Know that these changes can redirect your mindset and give you a new outlook on life.

Breathe in the crispness of the spring air and enjoy the shift. Allow your new ambitions to be the food for your desires.

“Spring ~ weed out any areas of bitterness in your life ~ so love can take root ~
Let love blossom and grow.”
