Being Comfortable in Your Own Skin

It’s not always easy to feel comfortable with who you really are. We tend to be our own worst critics at times. I am sure that you have heard the quote “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Do you really know what that means? It’s really how you feel about yourself, and not how others perceive you. It really doesn’t matter what people think and you shouldn’t be influenced by other people’s opinions. It’s time to realize your authentic self and love who you are.

Being comfortable isn’t so much about your physical features as it is about how you feel. Your daily mindset as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle plays a big role. When you are feeling comfortable with yourself you radiate self-confidence. So as you remove the mental debris; you clear a path to discovering a beautiful you. Know that your beauty is mind, body and soul all together. It’s the total package.

Don’t deny yourself the luxury of feeling beautiful. Know your true self and don’t depend on other people to remind you.

Live in an intentional and purposeful way that makes you feel good. It’s important for you to create a well-balanced lifestyle. Your beauty is then self-defined and self-created. Find your balance and find your rhythm. That is when you will be comfortable with who you are and enjoy the mere essence of your beauty.

“The moment will arrive when you are comfortable with who you are, and what you are– bald or old or fat or poor, successful or struggling- when you don’t feel the need to apologize for anything or to deny anything. To be comfortable in your own skin is the beginning of strength.”

Great words of wisdom…. I’ll continue to work on this area in my life until I master it. Hoping that I will be able to radiate this before my meeting tomorrow! 🙁
