The Giving Aspect of Self ~ Beyond “I” “My” and “Me”

We live in a culture where we are often immersed in “self.” Yes ~ you have always heard me speak of “self-love” as well as the importance of “self-well-being” and self-care.” This still holds true when. However, we do engage in relationships such as family, friends, colleagues, and partners. And ~ in order for these relationships to work, we must sometimes step outside of “self.” By this, I mean showing interest and concern for others. Listening to what others have to say, beyond their words. Paying attention to how your actions affect others.

It’s still about “self, ” but it involves the giving aspect of “self.”~ which is the most beautiful gift you share with someone. And when you are giving from your heart…well ~ that’s what takes you out of ‘self.”

To the point ~ there is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have made a difference in someone else’s life.

Give the gift of your sweet “presence” ~ with compassion ~ without judgment or ego ~

Hold a sweet space open for others ~
This allows them to carry this gift with them throughout the day ~ and do the same for others ~ And so it goes ~
