More isn’t always better. We all tend to have this false sense of security when we have lots of “stuff” or lots of material assets. Have you ever asked yourself…. “Who am I…. the person?” Who are you without all your tangible assets?
A written definition of emotional, mental, or verbal abuse is one person subjecting or exposing another person to behavior that causes or results in psychological trauma. It also causes a destructive sense of fear and guilt. Emotional, verbal, or mental abuse which are all the same can most certainly lead to physical abuse if left unchecked.
Are you aware that your desire to control others can be compromising your relationships? It can also keep you from living in the present, and enjoying your life because you become consumed with the outcome of other people’s circumstances. “Control” is a need.
There are events in your life that will happen unexpectedly; that will just knock you off your feet. Something can happen in an instant that may throw you completely off balance, and make you feel disconnected. So what do you do?
We sometimes hide behind a shield or a self- created barrier; not allowing anyone or anything to touch us. Not ever wanting to be hurt. We use these mental walls or barriers to block out thoughts that we may feel are not manageable.
The human race as we all know it, has always endured struggling. But what is the thought or mindset behind struggling? Are the unpleasant emotions or thoughts we hold inside real or true? To struggle is to fight against what is… what was… or what will be.
The mind, body and soul are all connected and when balanced properly, they keep your energy flowing within. You’ve been given this one body while living here on this earth. It’s your responsibility to maintain a healthy balance.

There are so many good reasons why you should choose to eat healthy. Our bodies need to be nourished with foods rich in vitamins and minerals to keep us alive and well. These vitamins and minerals work as messengers to all parts of your body to keep it running.

During the holiday season it becomes apparent that most people have a change in their mindset as well as a change of heart. This particular season seems to touch our souls and soften our hearts. The holidays just have that effect on most people.
